WhatsMyAge.in publishes original calculators and plain-language explanations of age, dates, and Indian government-exam eligibility. Our goal is to make a rule easier to understand without replacing its official source.

Primary sources

For examination rules, we prefer the exact notification, corrigendum, calendar, or rules PDF published by the recruiting authority. A generic institutional homepage is not treated as proof of a particular limit. Each reviewed exam page should identify the notice used, its publication date, and the date we checked it.

Review process

1. Confirm the examination cycle and exact official document.
2. Record post-wise minimum and maximum ages, crucial date, category relaxations and special conditions.
3. Check calculator output against the notification’s stated DOB ranges where available.
4. Review the page after corrigenda or a new notification.

Automation and generated pages

Software may calculate dates or assemble tables from reviewed structured data. It is not used as a substitute for checking an official rule. Automatically generated reference pages are kept out of search indexing until selected for editorial review.

Independence

Coverage and recommendations are not sold to examination authorities. Advertising, when present, does not influence calculator results or editorial conclusions.
